| | We shall interrupt the weekly food entries from Taiwan and go to Vietnam for a day.Who am i kidding.THIS IS TAIWAN MAN,TAIWAN! Not far from the Starbucks knock off, signature rice and awesome beef noodles ,which are all within walking distance within each other.(amzing variety of food don't you think?) there is a shop selling vietnamese noodles. Like every other shop, they DO NOT serve drinks.A small little shop with a pathway wide enough to fill only 2 people leads to a tighly arrange set-up.Usually VERY FULL during lunch time.(which place isn't) I haven't actually had authentic vietnamese noodles but i must say it was pretty good.Again,a tad too salty for me.Portions were generous at a reasonable price. If you are fimiliar with Hor Fun,this would be something like that but with a smaller width, smooth to bite into, served with corriander, scallions in a soup of beef essance(is this right?) and slices of beef.If you don't eat beef, you're missing out on a lot! They also serve fried spring rolls with icannotrecallwhatsinit filling. So please, use you're imagination and try to figure out whats in it.=P Cheerio. |
